The electronica artist, Loryn, debuts a new-breed cohesion of popular contemporary songwriting with innovative experimental production. A definite for the new music lovers library.
ALBUM NOTES–
Which began as an experiment of sound, became the songwriting of a story. Ora Et Labora (in Latin meaning, Work and Prayer), came to fruition while dutifully building a sound library for future music creation. Months and months of listening to individual and looped audio samples, transformed into project after project of new material. Other tracks on this album were brought to life by snippets of documented verse/chorus guitar songwriting.
A particularly dark epigram of truth and solitude in a particularly dark time. Inspired by segments of failure and grasps of reality. Though glimpses of hope, as the tunnel begins to see the light.
