native
on his journey to
wilderness has divided his thoughts:
and a child will always be forgotten.
what can be taught
that nature has not already proven
better instruction.
the will of man is beyond
its primal instinct
—the screams of the universe—
an inglorious resurrection
hidden in the maze of the beast
we shall hunt.
we shall be enhanced.
we shall be as nature,
our servant. our master.
the capacity of power is
by powerful destroyers.
a dream of evolution.
we are chasing mechanized-self—
the eternal steed
that exists only in fairy tales.
this will not stop us.
nothing will until it is complete.
are the incidentals beyond survival
included in survival?
are these remaining memories
from life inside the machine?
will the earth swallow itself
frame animalistic, a more evolved
man, to discover.
