human
in the jawless seams of spring
on a day with only two clouds
in a
white ash of this earthing
sun that burns
and plasters its diaphanous
excrescence in the
thought and self-destruction
that dopes out
along the pending horizon.
the yellow is held
in the claw of your demon.
the body of nature oversees
your prayer in the black hole
love that spears through you
like a wet dream draped
on some face unable
to persecute your martyr, or allow
its best persecutor entrance.
your military father folds his idol
as he demands you to cut the grass;
each hair like a dandelion spore
just before it discloses
its purpose to the wind.
it dies too soon,
as does each of us.
in the bedding twilight,
between the stars and planets,
between the moons and magic,
we speak of greater things through
stretch marks, maybe tears,
in the dialogue of its captive feed
like a robot alien broken
in the wrong place in time and
forced into normalization,
(for what that means to
the mechanics of modernity).
it has lived too long,
as has each of us.
there is something profound
in the way the dark soul
inside you smiles as your
eyes unravel like a wet mouse.
love shooting through me
like interplanetary orgasms
firing needles through
my organs and
elasticizing my skin
on their exit—
rubber hills as my
spirit tries to escape.
