before we say goodbye — Chapter III
Chapter I: https://gensociety.com/2023/05/12/hom-nguyen-moondancers-love/ Chapter II: https://gensociety.com/2023/06/02/villa-del-arte-galleries-on-an-infinite-tile-or-till-it-all-passes/ Inspired by an original manuscript from: https://www.instagram.com/poetic.wolf__/ what does it mean to love someone? was it that, which we experienced?— the desire to press lips, bury our bodies in the sand, hold close—that remarkable scent that brings us home. that which the reader knows?—god portraying the Great Artist, as are they: two cadavers in a ballroom dance under the tents of a roman circus, limp, on the stilts of puppetry. was it something else? something blurted in haste? something not only of i but they? i watch as you undress, and swell. you're good at this, but i— i'm still learning. was it something more?— the moment before purported perfection; more than us and our dream of love? climbing inside each other our bodies mix wet like concrete. the rain hits hard as the clouds glow with pain. were your orgasms real?— were mine? a rock breaks off in the distance. the mountain weeps. the stream rages. both silent. we were infinite. more than we knew. separated by the witch-king of obscurity... you being both, and I being you. but what does any of that matter now?— the man who chases two rabbits, catches... both? the mountain divorces the fading half and remarries itself. it becomes part of another configuration, to feel its greater land; clicking its heels, hoping to wake... within a dream it's asleep in. i can't hear your voice over the crowd. i have no answers anyway. it is that which speaks: so majestic, so naked, so impeccably worded, so carelessly imagined— so in love, with each other, that from it we find ourselves... like god, in all things. in this thing, between us, destined as both a dream and a creation; formulaic, born out of genocide and the millions of opportunities against us, leaving all things unanswered and all statements sewn— about you. about me. about thoughts. words. deeds. about dreams. about truth. about civilization. about animals. evolution. about earth. nature. the universe. about life. death. heaven. hell. creativity. create. created. creating. creation. creator. did i miss anything... yes, us... and... hold tight, my dear child, for all your statements will be questioned, and all your questions will be stated, one by one. i won't let you go. before the sun fades, and the night takes us. by LORIN DREXLER

Fabio La Fauci

Fabio La Fauci’s work, often inspired by Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism, oscillates between abstract atmosphere and organic reality and escapes all attempts at artistic classification.
His work’s intrinsic plastic ambiguity enables a transformation, the passage from one form to another form and from one meaning to another meaning.
This process derives from the artist’s subconscious, from his most hidden fears and emotions and art becomes, in this perspective, a sort of catharsis.
